WHAT STUDENTS LEARN

All episodes and lessons teach through the power of story to make history relevant and engaging for students. In the first lesson they learn how the problems from the Gilded Age led to the Progressive Era and the need to make reforms and change the role of government focusing on the story of the Triangle Factory Fire. In the second lesson they learn all about President Roosevelt, his life, and how his progressive reforms and conservation impacted the country through the story of his amazing camping trip with John Muir at Yosemite. Lastly, students learn about how the long fight for women's suffrage culminated in the "night of terror" with Alice Paul and National Women's Party protests finally achieved the 19 Amendment.

ACTIVITIES IN THIS BUNDLE
